Jairzinho Rozenstruik vs. Ciryl Gane to headline February 27
Jairzinho Rozenstruik (no.3) and Ciryl Gane (no.7) will now headline the February 27 card after Dominick Reyes vs. Jiri Prochazka was cancelled. Rozenstruik took to Twitter to announce their bump up the card and will now look to capitalize on the added spotlight of being the main event fight. Gane is fresh off a win over veteran Junior Dos Santos and the fight is one between two future stars of the heavyweight division.

Prochazka took to Twitter also and confirmed that Reyes was the one who was forced to withdraw from their fight. Given that no replacement has been rumoured, it looks like the UFC will simply reschedule the fight for a later date.

Chris Weidman vs. Uriah Hall to be rescheduled for April
ESPN's Ariel Helwani has reported that Chris Weidman (no.11) vs. Uriah Hall (no.8) will be rescheduled after the former middleweight champion tested positive for COVID-19. Helwani also notes that John Hyon Ko's report of the UFC aiming for a Singapore card in April for UFC 261 has been discussed by the promotion for the return of Zhang Weili. The card is only being discussed but hasn't been finalized.
Chris Weidman vs. Uriah Hall is being moved. The fight, which was scheduled for UFC 258 on Feb. 13, has been canceled, sources say, after Weidman tested positive for COVID-19 recently. The current plan is for the fight to be moved to UFC 261 on April 24, according to sources.

Canelo Alvarez vs. Billy Joe Saunders unification bout agreed
Canelo Alvarez has agreed to fight Billy Joe Saunders in a unification bout, reports The Athletic’s Mike Coppinger. The reports states the pair have agreed to fight around Cinco de Mayo on either May 1st or May 8th for the WBC, WBA, and WBO super-middleweight titles. Alvarez must defeat mandatory challenger Avni Yildirim on February 27th in Florida as expected first before the fight can take place and also come out unscathed by any injury.

Ben Rothwell will take on Philipe Lins next reports Combate. Veteran Rothwell (38-13) most recently faced Marcin Tybura in a unanimous decision loss. Lins (14-5) was the 2018 PFL heavyweight division and is aiming to get his first win in after losing to Tanner Boser and Andrei Arlovski so far.
