Joanna Jedrzejczyk Respects PVZ For Reebok Ad

UFC Women’s Strawweight Division contender Paige VanZant recently got some heat from fellow fighters after putting out her own, somewhat risqué, Reebok ad on Youtube.

One woman that has come to the fighter’s defense is UFC Women’s Strawweight Champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk.

“The thing is I like to show my interaction with Reebok a little bit of a different way than this, but it’s all about kicks,” said Jedrzejczyk at a UFC 211 media lunch in. “I like Paige VanZant. I think she’s young, talented, very good-looking girl and she became one of the most popular female fighters in the UFC, in the world.”

Something that should be noted here is that Jedrzejczyk hasn’t seen the actual self-made ad that PVZ put out.

PVZ could possibly challenge Jedrzejczyk for the gold in the future, but the champion wants the potential future challenger to gain more experience first.

“Lots of luck to Paige VanZant,” Jedrzejczyk said. “I met her a few times. She’s very nice girl. She needs to get this experience.”

UFC 211 takes place on Saturday, May 13 from the American Airlines Arena in Dallas, Texas with Stipe Miocic and Junior Dos Santos headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
