Justin Gaethje is currently coaching opposite former UFC Lightweight Champion Eddie Alvarez on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 26.
Tony Ferguson is currently preparing to fight Kevin Lee for the vacant UFC Interim Lightweight Title this Saturday Night at UFC 216.
Despite the fact that both fighters are on different paths at this stage of their careers, the two still got into it recently on Twitter.
The entire Twitter spat started after Gaethje first commented on a UFC 216 poll and would then threaten to break the legs of Ferguson.

Upon learning of the threat of bodily harm from Gaethje, the upcoming title challenger issued a threat of his own to the former WSOF Lightweight Champion.

These two lightweight division contenders could meet down the line, but Ferguson must deal with Kevin Lee first and Gaethje has to fight Eddie Alvarez this December.
