King Mo will be taking on Quinton “Rampage” Jackson at Bellator 175, it will be a rematch for King Mo, who lost the first fight to Rampage by decision at Bellator 120. Mo is also not a fan of the out-of-shape Rampage.
“You talk about lifting weights — you’re lifting donuts,” Lawal said to MMA Fighting. “You know what I’m saying? And beers. You say you got big arms from curling? Chips and Pringles. Listen, I heard you’re training with Kobayashi, the competitive eater, for this. Kobayashi, the hot dog eater. That’s who you’re training with.”
King Mo wondered aloud why a rematch with Rampage is even happening in the first place.
“When a fighter really wins the fight, they don’t ask for no rematch,” Lawal said. “That be stupid. That be like Floyd asking Pacquiao for a rematch.”
Mo has only lost one fight since the initial defeat to Rampage, which was a second round knockout loss to Mirko Cro Cop in the quarterfinals of the 2016 Rizin Openweight Grand Prix.
Bellator 175 takes place on Friday, March 31 from a location to be announced with King Mo and Quinton Jackson headlining, the main card will be airing live on Spike TV.
