A change has been made to the upcoming UFC Fight Night Ottawa card according to the UFC Canada Twitter account as #14 Macy Chiasson will replace Leah Letson against Sarah Moras.
There is no word at this time as to why Letson is no longer competed on the UFC Fight Night Ottawa card.
Chiasson (4-0-0) has already competed twice under the UFC banner, defeating the duo of Gina Mazany and Pannie Kianzad. Chiasson was also the female featherweight winner on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 28, defeating the aforementioned Kianzad in the finals. Chiasson has competed four times as a professional MMA fighter and only one of her bouts have gone the distance.
Moras (5-4-0) has won just one of her last four bouts in the UFC, with that lone win coming against Ashlee Evans-Smith at UFC 215. Moras has suffered four losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of them have come by way of decision. Moras is also winless at this time on Fight Night cards, losing three straight bouts on those particular events.
UFC Fight Night Ottawa takes place on Saturday, May 4 from the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada with Al Iaquinta and Donald Cerrone headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
