Makwan Amirkhani Only Wants To Fight In Finland

Makwan Amirkhani will be fighting Arnold Allen this Saturday at UFC Fight Night 107, the event takes place in England.

Amirkhani wants the UFC to head over to Finland and he may not compete in the promotion until they head over there.

“The only time I will fight after this fight, the only fight that I will take, is if the UFC comes to Finland,” Amirkhani told MMA Junkie. “I’ve been waiting for that since the UFC in Stockholm (when I made my debut). I can imagine in my head how many Finnish flags I would see there and how the home crowd will be so excited and emotional. I know the tickets would be selling within hours. I want to experience that. If they will say the next one in Finland, then I will take the fight.”

“I have a lot of tricks to finish this fight, and I’m happy to go there and show what I have been learning for this last year,” Amirkhani said. “I’m happy I’m in the shape I should be. The only sad part in this story is that the hometown will cry.”

UFC Fight Night 107 takes place on Saturday, March 18 from The 02 in London, England with Jimi Manuwa and Corey Anderson headlining. Fightful will be providing live coverage of the event.
