Marcelo Garcia is one of the greatest Brazilian jiu-jitsu practitioners in the world today, in addition to being one of the most highly regarded coaches.
Garcia has had problems of late with star pupils Dillon Danis and Mansher Khera, which prompted the BJJ legend to take action.
In a video released to his personal Youtube channel (which you can check out above), the famed coach announces that he has parted ways with his two students.
“I don't kick people out. I really don't want to do that,” Garcia said in the video. “I told them to take some time off, figure [it] out. One day if they have a better thought, they come here and I'll be here and we'll talk.”
Danis is best known as the jiu-jitsu coach for UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor and he has appeared on the UFC Ultimate Fighter.
The BJJ wizard has also made some enemies in the MMA world as well, especially after stating that he is the highest paid fighter in Bellator MMA.
Although he has yet to make his Bellator MMA debut, the jiu-jitsu expert is rumored to be facing UFC veteran Jake Shields at Submission Underground 4 this May.
