Megan Olivi Says Las Vegas Mayor Run Is "On My Bucket List"

Megan Olivi has revealed she is looking to become the mayor of Las Vegas one day.

Olivi was speaking on "Oral Sessions with Renée Paquette" where she revealed a long-standing ambition to become the mayor of Las Vegas. Olivi was born in New Jersey but raised mainly in Nazareth, Pennsylvania, and despite not being a Vegas native, she wants to make a change in her community.

"It's on my bucket list, yeah. That is something I have always wanted to do like, enact change in my community. This is like way before I ever had this career or lived in Las Vegas," Olivi said. "I just like was always very passionate about the changes that you can make for the positive for the people around you."

Olivi is married to current UFC flyweight star Joseph Benavidez. She is excelling in her current role as a cage-side reporter for the UFC, as well as having a  show on UFC Fight Pass called "The Exchange With Megan Olivi." Olivi wouldn't be the first person with MMA ties to venture into politics, most recently Tito Ortiz has become part of the Huntington Beach, California city council.
