The vacant Cage Warriors Welterweight Title is going to be getting a new owner at Cage Warriors 95 as Mehrdad Janzemini faces Stefano Paterno.
Janzemini (9-2-0) is currently undefeated under the Cage Warriors banner, having defeated Brad Wheeler by first round knockout at Cage Warriors 92. Janzemini hasn’t suffered a defeat in almost two years, with that last loss coming to Baysangur Vakhitov at Absolute Championship Berkut 46. Janzemini has competed a total of eleven times as a professional MMA fighter, but none of his fights have gone past the opening round.
Paterno (11-2-1) is making his Cage Warriors debut in this fight and has won six of the last seevn bouts heading into the title encounter. Paterno does hold a victory over UFC veteran John Maguire and that win came by first round knockout at Italian Fighting Championship 3. Paterno has suffered two defeats as a professional MMA fighter and both of those losses came by way of decision.
