Thatch is also a former Resurrection Fighting Alliance Welterweight Champion, he defeated fellow UFC veteran Mike Rhodes to win the belt at RFA 7.

UFC 207 takes place on Friday, December 30 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Amanda Nunes and Ronda Rousey in the main event.
