Oluwale Bamgbose’s tenure in the UFC has come to an end as the fighter was recently cut by the promotion.
It was Bamgbose who revealed the news through Twitter, while also taking quite the shot at UFC President Dana White.
So its official I am no longer apart of the @ufc organization. Not gonna lie, I fell out of love for it for obvious reasons. One being a target of unfair treatment multiple times & 2nd the organization not taking care of its fighters financially. @danawhite FUCK U! #MmaComeBack--

Bamgbose fought five times during his UFC tenure, defeating Daniel Sarafian, while suffering defeats to Uriah Hall, Cezar Ferreira, Paulo Henrique Costa and Alessio Di Chirico. Bamgbose’s final Octagon appearance came at UFC On Fox 26, where he was knocked out with a knee strike from Alessio Di Chirico.
The fighter did have a five bout run in Ring Of Combat before coming to the UFC, but only one of the five competitors he fought had a winning record.
While Bamgbose did announce his release from the UFC, one thing he didn’t reveal is any future fighting plans outside of the promotion.
