Renato Moicano Predicts A Max Holloway Loss At UFC 236

UFC Featherweight Champion Max Holloway and Dustin Poirier will battle for the vacant UFC Interim Lightweight Title at UFC 236.

Renato Moicano is a top ranked fighter in the featherweight division and he believes that Holloway will lose on Saturday Night.

“It’s maybe an opportunity for another guy to take that belt because Max is going to fight with Dustin,” Moicano told MMA Junkie. “I don’t think he will win, but let’s see. The fight is always tough, but I’m confident with the win of Dustin. I think Dustin will win and Max will come to featherweight to defend his title.”

If Holloway does pull out the victory on Saturday Night, it would make him one of just a handful of fighters two hold two titles simultaneously in the UFC.

Moicano is coming off of a loss to former UFC Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo at UFC Fight Night Fortaleza, but is promising to come back stronger whenever he fights again.

“I know I will return better,” Moicano said. “I take that loss, I return from that loss and I know I come back better.”

UFC 236 takes place on Saturday, April 13 from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia with Max Holloway and Dustin Poirier headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
