A light heavyweight division attraction has been added to UFC 231 according to Nolan King of Flo Combat as Aleksandar Rakic is in action against Devin Clark.
Rakic (10-1-0) is currently undefeated under the UFC banner, having defeated the duo of Francimar Barroso and Justin Ledet. Rakic enters the contest riding a ten fight winning streak and he hasn’t suffered a loss in almost seven years. Rakic has picked up a total of ten wins as a professional MMA fighter and seven of them have come by way of KO/TKO.
Clark (9-2-0) has won three of five thus far in UFC competition, with those wins coming over the trio of Jake Collier, Josh Stansbury and Mike Rodriguez. Clark has seen five of his eleven professional MMA bouts go the distance and Clark has won all of them. Clark also won four of five bouts as an amateur MMA competitor and none of his amateur bouts went past the second round.
UFC 231 takes place on Saturday, December 8 from the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada with Max Holloway and Brian Ortega headlining. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
