A new threat is reportedly making his way to Bellator MMA as the promotion has signed Alex Polizzi to a deal.
MMA Junkie first reported the signing, but such details as the length of the contract or any financial numbers associated with the deal weren’t revealed at this time.
Polizzi (6-0-0) is undefeated thus far in his professional MMA career and that streak has lasted almost two years. Polizzi is the current Legacy Fighting Alliance Light Heavyweight Champion, defeating Jamal Pogues to win the gold by fourth round submission at LFA 82. Polizzi has competed a total of six times as a professional MMA fighter and none of those encounters went to the judges scorecards. Polizzi has picked up six wins as a professional MMA fighter, with three of them coming by KO/TKO and the other three coming by way of submission.
There is no word at this time as to when Polizzi is going to be making his promotional debut or whom that bout will come against. The newly signed fighter will enter a weight class currently ruled by Ryan Bader, who defends the light heavyweight title against Vadim Nemkov ay Bellator 242.
