There is a new threat coming to the Bellator MMA Light Heavyweight Division as Dalton Rosta has reportedly signed a deal with the promotion.
Nolan King of Flo Combat first reported the news, but did not specify a contract length or any financial numbers associated with the deal.
Rosta (0-0-0) has yet to make his professional MMA debut, but the competitor is undefeated as an amateur MMA fighter. Rosta has defeated Trenton Zdarko and Devon Harrell as an amateur, while five other wins during that time came over unknown opponents. Flo Combat reports that Rosta is the current BCM Amateur Light Heavyweight Champion, defeating Cody Brundage to win that gold in late 2018. Rosta has competed seven times as an amateur MMA fighter and none of those encounters have gone to the judges scorecards.
No word has been given at this time as to when Rosta is expected to make his Bellator MMA and professional MMA debut, plus no word has been given as to whom Rosta will face at this time.
The newly signed fighter is going to be entering a division currently ruled by Ryan Bader, who also serves as the Bellator MMA Heavyweight Champion, defeating Fedor Emelianenko to win the belt at Bellator 214.
