Highly touted middleweight prospect Fabio Aguiar is making his way to Bellator MMA, as the fighter has reportedly signed a multi-fight deal with the promotion.
MMA Fighting first reported the news, but the length of the contract and any financial numbers associated with the deal weren’t revealed at this time.
Aguiar (17-1-0) is going to be entering the promotion while in the midst of a nine fight winning streak and he hasn’t been defeated in over four years. Aguiar holds a victory over three fight UFC veteran Marcio Alexandre Jr., with that win coming at Aspera FC 55 in August of 2017. Aguiar has suffered a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came against Bruno Silva at Iron Fight Combat 8 in June of 2015. Aguiar has competed a total of eighteen times as a professional MMA fighter and just three of those encounters went to the judges scorecards.
There is no word that this time as to when Aguiar is going to be making his Bellator MMA debut or whom that bout will come against. Aguiar will enter a weight class currently ruled by Rafael Lovato Jr., who has no title defenses lined up at this point in time.
