Former Cage Warriors Lightweight Champion & Interim Featherweight Champion Soren Bak has reportedly signed a multi-fight deal with Bellator MMA.
The Sun first reported the news, but the length of the contract and any financial numbers associated with the deal weren’t revealed at this time.
“Signing with Bellator was really a great feeling and it’s a step up to the big leagues,” Bak said.
Bak (12-1-0) comes into Bellator MMA while in the midst of a five fight winning streak and he hasn’t been defeated in almost three years. Bak became the Cage Warriors Lightweight Champion by defeating Paddy Pimblett at Cage Warriors 96, while he won the Cage Warriors Interim Featherweight Champion by defeating Morgan Charriere at Cage Warriors 103. While Bak did win two titles under the Cage Warriors banner, one thing the fighter didn't do was defend wither title. Bak has picked up twelve wins as a professional MMA fighter and half of those wins came by way of submission.
A newly signed Bak is expected to make his promotional debut at Bellator MMA Europe 6 this November, but nothing has been made official at this time.
