Report: Brandon Vera Defends One Heavyweight Championship Against Arjan Singh Bhullar This May

The One Championship Heavyweight Title is going to be defended at One Championship: Code Of Honor as Brandon Vera puts the gold on the line against Arjan Singh Bhullar.

Asian MMA announced that Bhullar was the opponent for Vera, while Vera announced he was defending the gold at One Championship: Fire & Fury.

Vera (16-8-0-1NC) is going to be making the third defense of his title, last defending it against Mauro Cerilli at One Championship: Conquest Of Champions. Vera last fought for the One Championship Light Heavyweight Title, losing to Aung La N Sang at One Championship Century: Part 2. Vera also competed for several years in the UFC, winning a total of eight of sixteen in the promotion.

Bhullar (10-1-0) is undefeated thus far in One Championship competition, having defeated the aforementioned Cerilli by unanimous decision at One Championship Century: Part 2. Bhullar also won three of four while competing in the UFC, with all three wins coming by way of decision. Bhullar ha suffered just a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter, with that lone loss coming to Adam Wieczorek at UFC ON Fox 29.

One Championship: Code Of Honor takes place on Friday, May 29 from the Mall Of Asia Arena in Manila, Philippines with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on Bleacher Report Live.
