A welterweight wallop has been added to UFC Fight Night: Holm vs. Aldana as Carlos Condit faces Court McGee.
The bout was first announced on The Buck & Dex podcast.
Condit (30-13-0) enters the contest riding a five-fight losing streak and he has not picked up a victory in over five years. Condit, a former UFC interim welterweight champion, defeated Nick Diaz to win gold at UFC 143. Condit has picked up 28 wins by way of KO/TKO and submission.
McGee (19-9-0) has won just one of his last five in the UFC. That lone win is over Alex Garcia at UFC Fight Night Moncton. McGee has not earned a victory in almost two years. McGee was also the welterweight winner of The Ultimate Fighter 11, defeating Kris McCray in the finals.
UFC Fight Night: Holm vs. Aldana takes place on Saturday, October 3 from a location to be announced with Holly Holm and Irene Aldana headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be announced.
