A middleweight division attraction could find its way to the UFC 224 card according to Combate as Cezar Ferreira may be in action against Karl Roberson.
Ferreira (12-6-0) has won four of his last five fights under the UFC banner, with that last win coming over Nate Marquardt at UFC Fight Night Norfolk. Ferreira has also seen four of his last five fights in the UFC go the distance, holding a record of 3-1-0 in those encounters. Ferreira fought two UFC veterans prior to signing with the promotion in 2012, suffering defeats to Elvis Mutapcic and Antonio Braga Neto.
Roberson (6-0-0) has already competed once in the UFC, defeating Darren Stewart by first round submission at UFC Fight Night Norfolk. Roberson also competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 3, defeating Ryan Spann by first round knockout. Roberson has only seen just one of his professional MMA fights go past the first round and that came against Chike Obi at Ring Of Combat 51.
