A heavyweight division attraction has been added to UFC 249 as #10 Shamil Abdurakhimov faces #15 Ciryl Gane.
La Sueur first reported the bout, but its spot on the card isn’t known at this time.
Abdurakhimov (20-5-0) has won three of his last four under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Chase Sherman, Andrei Arlovski and Marcin Tybura. Abdurakhimov is winless thus far when competing on UFC pay-per-view events, having dropped a bout to Curtis Blaydes at UFC 242.
