Report: Don Madge Faces Magomed Mustafaev At UFC 242

A lightweight division attraction has been added to UFC 242 according to MMA Junkie as Don Madge is going to be in action against Magomed Mustafaev.

Madge (8-3-1) is undefeated thus far under the UFC banner, having defeated Te Edwards by second round knockout at UFC Fight Night Moncton. Madge enters the contest on the strength of a five fight winning streak and he hasn’t suffered a defeat in over four years. Madge has competed twelve times as a professional MMA fighter and just one of those bouts went the distance.

Mustafaev (15-2-0) has won three of four thus far in UFC competition, with those wins coming over the three pack of Piotr Hallman, Joe Proctor and Rafael Fiziev. Mustafaev has already competed four times in the UFC and none of those bouts went past the second round. Mustafaev has competed seventeen times as a professional MMA fighter and none of those bouts went the distance.

UFC 242 takes place on Saturday, September 7 from The Arena At Yas Island in Abu Dhabi with Khabib Nurmagoemdov and Dustin Poirier headlining. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
