A lightweight division attraction will headline UFC Fight Night Ottawa according to ESPN as #4 Al Iaquinta is in action against #9 Donald Cerrone.
Iaquinta (14-4-1) has won six of his last seven under the UFC banner, with the last bout being a unanimous decision win over Kevin Lee at UFC On Fox 31. Iaquinta is headlining his third straight UFC card, holding a 1-1-0 record in those previous main event bouts. Iaquinta also made it to the finals of the UFC Ultimate Fighter 15, but he lost to Michael Chiesa in the final fight.
Cerrone (35-11-0-1NC) has been undefeated since returning to lightweight, defeating Alex Hernandez by second round TKO at UFC Fight Night Phoenix. Cerrone has competed at both lightweight and welterweight in the UFC, earning an overall record of 19-8-0 in the promotion. Cerrone has previously challenged for the UFC Lightweight Title, losing to then champion Rafael Dos Anjos by first round TKO at UFC On Fox 17.
