It appears UFC lightweight contenders Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor have a target date for their highly anticipated trilogy bout.
According to a report from ESPN's Ariel Helwani, the promotion is targeting UFC 264 on July 10 for the massive third fight between Poirier and McGregor. Adjara Sports' Giorgi Kokiashvili was the first to report the potential summer date for the matchup on March 23, Poirier himself also sent out the following tweet all but confirming the July 10 date himself.

The UFC themselves have yet to officially announce the event or fight though. Poirier and McGregor first met at UFC 178 in September 2014 where the Irishman secured a first-round TKO victory. The Louisiana native would even the score though at UFC 257 this January where he would get a second-round TKO win over the former UFC lightweight and featherweight champion setting up the potential of a trilogy matchup.
