A change has been made to this weekends Professional Fighters League 10 card according to Marcel Dorff of MMA DNA as Eddie Gordon is replacing Shamil Gamzatov in the PFL Middleweight Division Playoffs, facing fellow UFC veteran John Howard in the opening round.

There is no word yet as to exactly why Gamzatov has been pulled from the event or exactly how long the fighter is going to be out of action for.

Gordon was originally set to face Artur Alibulatov in a middleweight playoffs alternate fight, but Gordon is now in the playoffs and has a chance to win the $1 million prize.

Due to the injuries affecting both the welterweight and middleweight division playoffs, both alternate fights have apparently been canned according to the PFL playoffs. It is unknown if the two fighters that were left in the respective alternate fights are now the official playoff alternates or will fight at a later date.

Professional Fighters League 10 takes place on Saturday, October 20 from the Entertainment & Sports Center in Washington DC with the welterweight and middleweight division playoffs taking place. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the NBC Sports Network.
