Kai Kara-France will remain on the UFC Fight Night Adelaide card after all as Elias Garcia has reportedly agreed to replace the injured Ashkan Mokhtarian at the event according to Flo Combat.
France (17-7-0-1NC) is going to be making his UFC debut in this bout and does so on the strength of a five fight winning streak. France also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 24, making it to the quarterfinals before losing to Alexandre Pantoja via unanimous decision. France hasn’t suffered a defeat in almost two years, with that last loss coming to Tatsumitsu Wada via unanimous decision at Rizin 3.
Garcia (6-1-0) is currently winless under the UFC banner, having dropped a bout to Mark De La Rosa at UFC Fight Night Boise. Garcia was initially brought in after an appearance on Dana White’s Lookin’ For A Fight, with his fight happening during a CBF MMA event in 2018. Garcia also went undefeated during a run as an amateur MMA fighter, with three wins coming in the North American Fighting Championship promotion.
