Report: Eric Spicely Faces Brendan Allen At UFC Fight Night Boston

A middleweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Boston according to MMA Fighting as Eric Spicely is going to be in action against Brendan Allen. 

Spicely (12-5-0) is winless thus far during his second stint with the UFC, having dropped a bout to Deron Winn via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night Greenville. Spicely has had two separate runs in the UFC, holding an overall record of 2-5-0 in the promotion. Spicely has picked up a total of twelve wins as a professional MMA fighter and half of those victories came by way of KO/TKO.

Allen (12-3-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this encounter and does so on the strength of a four fight winning streak. Allen competed in Dana White’s Contender Series Season 3, Episode 4, defeating Aaron Jeffrey by first round submission. Allen has suffered three losses as a professional MMA fighter and all three of those defeats came to current UFC fighters. 

UFC Fight Night Boston takes place on Friday, October 18 from the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts with Dominick Reyes and Chris Weidman headlining. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on ESPN.
