A lightweight division attraction has been added to UFC On Fox 31 according to Ben Steele of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel as Erik Koch faces Dwight Grant.
Koch (15-6-0) has won just two of his last seven under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over the duo of Rafaello Oliveira and Shane Campbell. Koch is going to be competing for the second time in 2018, which is the first time he has fought twice in the same year since 2014. Koch is also winless at UFC On Fox events, having previously lost at UFC On Fox 6 and UFC On Fox 27.
Grant (8-1-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this fight and does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted over seven years. Grant also competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 10, defeating Tyler Hill by second round knockout. Grant has picked up a total of eight wins as a professional MMA fighter and six of those victories came by way of KO/TKO.
UFC On Fox 31 takes place on Saturday, December 15 from the Wisconsin Entertainment & Sports Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox.
