A women’s flyweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Newark according to MMA Junkie as Hannah Goldy is in action against Miranda Granger.
Goldy (2-0-0) is going to be making her UFC debut in this bout and does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted over three years. Goldy competed on Dana White’s Contender Series Season 3, Episode 1, defeating Kali Robbins by unanimous decision. Goldy has competed three times as an amateur/professional MMA fighter and all of those bouts went to the judges scorecards.
Granger (4-0-0) is also going to be making her UFC debut in this encounter and does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted almost two years. Granger is the current CFFC Women’s Flyweight Champion, defeating Jamie Colleen to win the gold at CFFC 71 in December of 2018. Granger has competed four times as a professional MMA fighter and none of those bouts went past the second round.
UFC Fight Night Newark takes place on Saturday, August 3 from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey with Colby Covington and Robbie Lawler headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on ESPN.
