A women’s bantamweight division attraction has been added to UFC 235 according to MMA Junkie as #2 Holly Holm is going to be in the Octagon against #7 Aspen Ladd.
Holm (12-4-0) has won just two of her last six bouts under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over the duo of Bethe Correia and Megan Anderson. Holm is a former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion, defeating Ronda Rousey by second round knockout at UFC 193 to claim the gold. Holm has headlined a total of five UFC cards and she has picked up wins in just two of those encounters.
Ladd (7-0-0) has already picked up two wins in UFC competition, having defeated the duo of Tonya Evinger and Lina Lansberg. Ladd also spent some time competing in the Invicta FC promotion, where she defeated fellow UFC fighters Sijara Eubanks and Amanda Cooper. Ladd has competed a total of seven times as a professional MMA fighter and just one of those bouts went the distance.
