Report: Johnny Campbell Injured, Off Bellator 241

Leandro Higo is going to need a new opponent for next weeks Bellator 241 card as Johnny Campbell has suffered an injury and has been pulled from the card.

MMA Fighting first reported the news, but the nature of the injury or how long the fighter’s going to be out of action for aren’t known at this time. Higo is expected to remain on the card at this time, as Bellator officials are searching for a new opponent for him to face.

Higo (19-5-0) has won two of five under the Bellator MMA banner and he is a former LFA Bantamweight Champion. Higo has picked up the aforementioned two wins in Bellator MMA, with those victories coming over Shawn Bunch and Joe Taimanglo. Higo was set to challenge for the Bellator MMA Bantamweight Title at Bellator 177, but the fighter missed weight for the bout
