A women’s bantamweight division attraction has been added to UFC 250 as #7 Ketlen Vieira faces #9 Marion Reneau.
MMA Junkie first reported the bout, but its placement on the card isn’t known at this time.
Vieira (10-1-0) is looking to rebound from her first professional MMA defeat, which came to Irene Aldana at UFC 245. Vieira had won four straight in the UFC prior to that defeat, with notable wins coming over Cat Zingano and Sara McMann. Vieira hasn’t picked up a victory in almost two years, with that last win coming over the aforementioned Zingano at UFC 222 in March of 2018.
Reneau (9-5-1) comes into the contest riding a two fight losing streak, having dropped bouts to the aforementioned Zingano and Yana Kunitskaya. Reneau also hasn’t picked up a win in nearly two years, with that last victory coming over the aforementioned McMann at UFC On Fox 28 in February of 2018. Reneau has suffered five losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of them came by way of decision.
UFC 250 takes place on Saturday, May 9 from the Ibirapueroa Gymnasium in Sao Paulo, Brazil with Henry Cejudo and Jose Aldo headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
