Khonry Gracie recently signed with Bellator MMA and his debut will take place at Bellator 192 next month, but now the competitor has an opponent in the form of Devon Brock.
Combate first reported the fight.
Gracie (0-0-0) is going to be making his professional MMA and Bellator MMA debut in this fight, but he did compete once as an amateur. In that lone amateur MMA appearance, the Brazilian fighter earned a decision victory over Ben Clark. Gracie is the son of the legendary Royce Gracie, who competed in the first ever UFC event in 1993.
Brock (0-0-0) is in the same boat as his opponent as far as debuts go, but the fighter competed a total of five times as an amateur MMA fighter. Brock fought all five of his amateur MMA bouts in 2017, last defeating Ryan Robles by decision at 559 Fights 60. Brock spent the majority of his amateur MMA career in the 559 Fights promotion and three of the competitors amateur bouts went the distance.
Bellator 192 takes place on Saturday, January 20 from The Forum in Inglewood, California with Douglas Lima and Rory MacDonald headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Spike TV.
