A women’s featherweight division attraction has been added to UFC 243 according to MMA Junkie as Megan Anderson is going to be in action against Zarah Fairn Dos Santos.
Anderson (9-4-0) has won just one of three bouts under the UFC banner and that lone win came over Cat Zingano by first round TKO at UFC 232. Anderson also competed five times in the Invicta FC promotion, having defeated UFC veteran Peggy Morgan at Invicta FC 18. Anderson has competed thirteen times as a professional MMA fighter and just four of those encounters went the distance.
Dos Santos (6-2-0) is going to be making her UFC debut in this bout and does so on the strength of a three fight winning streak. Dos Santos hasn’t suffered a defeat in over three years, with that last loss coming against Bellator MMA veteran Sinead Kavanagh at BAMMA 24 in February of 2016. Dos Santos has competed eight times as a professional MMA fighter and none of her bouts have ended by way of submission.
