A heavyweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Boston according to TSN as Tanner Boser is going to be in action against Daniel Spitz.
Boser (16-5-1) is going to be making his UFC debut in this bout and does so having won just one of his last three encounters. Boser is the current Unified MMA Heavyweight Champion, defeating Jared Kilkenny at Unified MMA 30 to claim the gold. Boser has picked up sixteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and half of them have come by way of KO/TKO.
Spitz (6-2-0) has won just one of three under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming against Anthony Hamilton at UFC Fight Night Pittsburgh. Spitz is also going to be competing for the first time in over a year, with his last encounter taking place at UFC Fight Night Utica in June of 2018. Spitz has competed eight times as a professional MMA fighter and just two of those bouts went to the judges scorecards.
UFC Fight Night Boston takes place on Friday, October 18 from the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts with Dominick Reyes and Chris Weidman headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on ESPN.
