A new featherweight fighter is reportedly making his way over to Combate Americas as UFC veteran Leonardo Morales has signed a multi-fight deal with the promotion.
Sherdog reported the news, but the length of the contract or any financial numbers associated with said deal weren’t revealed at this time.
Morales (7-3-0) went winless during his time in the UFC, dropping bouts to the duo of Yair Rodriguez and Jose Alberto Quinonez. Morales also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter Latin America 1, making it to the finals of the reality show before losing to the aforementioned Rodriguez. Morales has competed a total of ten times as a professional MMA fighter and just two of those bouts went to the judges scorecards. Morales enters Combate Americas having won three of his last four bouts, which includes a win over fellow UFC veteran Marcus Brimage.
There is no word at this time as to when Morales will make his promotional debut or whom that opponent is going to be when it happens.
