A women’s flyweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Shanghai according to Farah Hannoun as Wu Yanan faces Shana Dobson.
Yanan (9-2-0) is currently winless under the UFC banner, having dropped a bout to Gina Mazany via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night Shanghai. Yanan is also a veteran of the Chinese Kung Fu Championship promotion, where she held there women’s bantamweight title. Yana is also returning to action for the first time in almost a year, with her last Octagon appearance coming in November of 2017.
Dobson (3-2-0) has won one of two bouts in UFC competition, defeating Ariel Beck and suffering a a decision defeat to Lauren Mueller. Dobson has seen four of her five professional MMA bouts go the distance and she has a record of 2-2-0 in those encounters. Dobson competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 26, losing in the first round of the reality show to Roxanne Modafferi.
UFC Fight Night Beijing takes place on Saturday, November 24 from the Cadillac Arena in Beijing, China with Curtis Blaydes and Francis Ngannou headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be announced.
