Stoddard then nails Stittgen with a right to the midsection, Stittgen goes for another takedown and Stoddard attacks him with a high kick. Round One: The round begins with Jackson peppering Benjilany with some jabs and leg kicks, Benjilany starts landing some leg kicks of his own against Jackson. Benjilany goes for a head kick and Jackson blocks it, Jackson clinches with Benjilany and they battle along the cage wall. The fighters separate and Jackson nails a swinging Benjilany with a counter right, Benjilany responds by nailing Jackson with a left hook. Benjilany catches an incoming Jackson with a spinning elbow strike, Benjilany nails Jackson with a punching combination and a knee strike. Benjilany assaults Jackson with a plethora of knee strikes and elbow strikes, Benjilany accidentally pokes Jackson in the eye and the fight is halted. The fight resumes with Benjilany scoring a takedown on Benjilany and he gets the open guard, Benjilany scrambles to his feet and he attacks Jackson with knee strikes as the round ends.

Umar then nails Angeloff with a kick to the midsection, Umar follows that up with a two punch combination against Angeloff. Angeloff tries attacking Umar with kicks to keep him at a distance, Umar continues attacking Angeloff with body kicks. Angeloff lands a body kick while eating a counter right hook, Umar attacks Angeloff with more kicks to the midsection. Neiman Gracie vs. Javier Torres

Round One: The round begins with Gracie attacking Torres with a few strikes, Gracie nails Torres with a kick to the midsection. Torres starts attacking Gracie with some leg kicks, Torres then catches a swinging Gracie with a counter left. Gracie scores a takedown on Torres and he gets right back up, Gracie eventually scores a second takedown on Torres and he gets the open guard. Gracie rolls for a heel hook and Torres survives until the round ends.

#3 Emmanuel Sanchez vs. Sam Sicilia

Round One: The round begins with the fighters having a short striking exchange, Sicilia cracks a swinging Sanchez with a counter right. The fighters clinch and Sicilia eats knee strikes after landing some uppercuts, Sanchez goes for the rolling knee bar and Sicilia escapes to get top position. Sicilia postures up and Sanchez attacks him with up kicks, Sicilia postures up again and he attacks Sanchez with a few strikes. Sanchez scrambles to his feet and he holds Sicilia against the cage wall, Sanchez jumps on the back of a standing Sicilia for a short time. Sanchez goes for a standing arm triangle choke and Sicilia taps as he hits the ground.

Bellator Heavyweight Grand Prix Opening Round: Fedor Emelianenko vs. Frank Mir

Round One: The round begins with Mir attacking Emelianenko with leg kicks, Emelianenko scores a takedown and Mir gets right back up. Emelianenko eats a left from Mir, Emelianenko drops a swinging Mir with a punching combination and he pounces on him with more strikes until the referee jumps in.
