Deontay Wilder defeated Gerald Washington via TKO, round 5, 1:45, to retain the WBC World Heavyweight Title

Jarrett Hurd defeated Tony Harrison via KO, round 9, 2:24, to win the IBF Junior Middleweight Championship

Dominic Breazeale defeated Izuagbe Ugonoh via TKO, round 5

MAIN CARD

Tony Harrison vs. Jarrett Hurd: Vacant IBF Junior Middleweight Title Bout

Round 1: Hurd began hitting Harrison with a left jab and Harrison doesn't respond by throwng a lot of punches. He's pacing himself throughout the round and there isn't a lot of activity.

Fightful scored round 1 for Hurd 10-9

Round 2: Hurd started hitting Harrison with straight left jabs to the body. Harrison remains idle for the first 1 minute of the round and only throws a handful of punches. Hurd begins using the left hook more ad Harrison ends the round with a nice 3-punch combo, but Hurd didn't seem too bothered by it.

Round 3: Hurd connects on a hard left jab to Harrison's head. Hurd begins pressuring Harrison by having him move to the ropes. Harrison begins counter punching well but Hurd still has the momentum in this round, but Harrison ends the round strong with a flurry of hard hooks.

Round 4: Harrison starts to take a little more of an initiative in this fight, but Hurd is still using his left hand well, making sure Harrison doesn't do too much. Harrison begins countering with his left hand and connecting on those punches. Hurd is starting to miss his punches with Harrison ducking and weaving out of danger.

Round 5: Hurd is now getting serious. He is now throwing flurries of punches, some to the body, some to Harrison's head. Harrison responds by throwing the straight left hand at several times, landing a big hook in betwen those counters. Hurd ends the round with a solid uppercut to Harrison's head that stuns him.

Round 6: Hurd goes for the homerun by using the hard right hand but Harrison blocks it. Both me are now exchanging power punches and the two men clinch. Harrison takes control of the second half of the round by pressuring Hurd to the corner and throwing several hard punches.

Round 7: Hurd is now getting serious. He is now throwing flurries of punches, some to the body, some to Harrison's head. Harrison responds by throwing the straight left hand at several times, landing a big hook in betwen those counters. He then starts throwing several body punches. Hurd ends the round with a solid uppercut to Harrison's head that stuns him.

Round 8: Harrison is still in control but Hurd hurts his opponent badly again and Hurd is smelling blood. Hurd keeps using the right uppercut and lands square on Harrison's jaw. Hurd dominates the rest of the round and has the momentum.

Round 9: Harrison starts working Hurd's body with the uppercut and Hurd starts doing the same. Both men's punches are appearing sluggish at this point, but Harrison lands a couple of uppercuts and Hurd hits Harrison with a straight right hand and he is down. Harrison looked like he can continue, but then the referee stopped the fight.

Deontay Wilder vs. Gerald Washington: WBC World Heavyweight Title Bout

Round 1: Washington begins with a hard jab. Wilder hits a body jab and Washington misses a body hook. Not a lot of action in the first half of the first round. Washington is pushing Wilder to the ropes with a furry of head punches and Wilder goes to work on Washington and the two men end the round ready to throw down hard.

Round 2: The round begins with Washington throwing several punches, but most of them do not connect. Washington hits a straight hand and Wilder nearly falls down to the mat. Washington hits the jab and and Wilder is a little slow to react as the challenger is leading the charge in the round.

Round 3: Both men hit each other with a jab and the two men start to throw rapid-fire punches at each other, but they have been clinching a few times. Wilder hits left jab followed by an overhand right. Wilder throws a couple of jabs and Washington responds by throwing several power punches to Wilder's body as the end round ends.

Round 4: The two fighters begin by throwing haymakers to one another. Both men clinch, stopping the action. Wilder hits a hard body shot to Washington. Washington throws a few hooks, but Wilder blocks them. Wilder at this point is just throwing one jab at a time, but not doing much damage at all.

Round 5: Washington continues to play the leading man in this fight as he is the first to throw a punch, but Wilder is still not giving up and Wilder shows his explosive power and knocks down Washington. Wilder just goes on an unrelenting fury towards Washington. Like a wild animal, Wilder just snaps and throws many devastating punches and the referee stops the fight and Wilder retained his belt.
