RIZIN held their latest card at the Saitama Super Arena in Japan this morning, and features some familiar faces.
Former TNA wrestler and Mae Young Classic competitor Lei'd Tapa fell to Reina Miura via unanimous decision, falling to 0-2 as a pro MMA fighter. Her former foe in Gabi Garcia saw her fight end in a no-contest only 16 seconds in due to an eye poke to her opponent. Garcia also had a no contest earlier this month during a muay thai fight that saw her land an illegal soccer kick.
Other notables include former UFC title challenger Kyoji Horiguchi scoring a knockout of Bellator, Dream, K-1 and Pancrase veteran Hideo Tokoro in under 90 seconds. Also, highly touted heavyweight prospect Amir Aliakbari gained his fifth win in ten months.
