Alexander Volkanovski (C) vs. (#4) Korean Zombie— UFC Featherweight Championship

Round One - Volkanovski with a left hook to start. Volkanovski opens up with a kick to the leg then the body. Zombie lands a right hook, Volkanovski lands one of his own then lands a low kick. Zombie with a 1-2, Volkanovski with a right hook, then a left lands. Volkanovski peppers Zombie with a jab and then a 1-2 that wobbles the challenger. Volkanovski with a low kick then clinches Zombie against the cage and trips him to the mat. Zombie scrambles and gets back to the feet, Volkanovski lands a 1-2 and the horn sounds to end the opening frame.

Round Two - Zombie with a low kick to start, then another. Volkanovski comes back with a leg kick of his own. Volkanovski wallops Zombie with a left hook. Volkanovski with a left, Zombie with a kick to the body then a left hook that stuns the champion. Zombie partially lands a front-kick to the face, Volkanovski returns fire with a kick to the body then a right hook that sends Zombie to the mat. Volkanovski goes for the finish but eats a right hand from Zombie and Volkanovski thinks better of it and executed a perfectly-timed takedown. Volkanovski with some ground-and-pound, Zombie scrambles and gets back to his feet, Volkanovski with an elbow on the break and the champion pops a jab on Zombie. Volkanovski with a 1-2 and trips Zombie to the mat. Zombie gets back to the feet, Volkanovski lands a 1-2 and cracks the challenger with a left hook then a low kick at the buzzer that signifies an end to round number two.

Round Three - Volkanovski just missed a high kick, Zombie lands a side-kick to the body and Zombie lands a 1-2. Each competitor pops a simultaneous jab, Zombie lands another and Volkanovski lands a low kick. Zombie with a 1-2 then a low kick, Volkanovski clinches, Zombie lands an uppercut but eats a knee to the body from Volkanovski on the break. Volkanovski with a 1-2...then another 1-2 that snaps Zombie's head back. Volkanovski scoops and slams Zombie to the mat but the challenger gets right back up. Volkanovski continues to pepper Zombie then level changes but Zombie shoves the champion back. Volkanovski with a body kick, Zombie lands a left hook, Volkanovski with a low kick and Zombie comes right back with a low kick of his own. Zombie rips a left hook to the body, Volkanovski lands a jab then another low kick and Zombie whiffs on an uppercut. Volkanovski drills Zombie with a right hook that sends the challenger to the mat, Volkanovski goes in for the finish but Zombie's able to avoid just enough to see out the rest of the round.

Round Four - Volkanovski with a right hook to start and referee Herb Dean's keeping a watchful eye on Zombie, Volkanovski cracks Zombie with a 1-2 and Herb Dean has seen enough! Alexander Volkanovski continues to build his résumé!

Aljamain Sterling (C) vs. Petr Yan (IC) — Undisputed UFC Bantamweight Championship

Round One - Sterling with a body kick to start, then another. Sterling with a low kick, then dives in for a takedown but Yan sprawls and shoves Sterling aside. Yan blocks a high kick, then blocks another but Sterling lands a low kick. Sterling rips a side-kick to the body, Yan lands a straight right then drops Sterling with a left hook. Sterling gets back to his feet and lands a stabbing front kick to the body. Sterling misses an overhand right, Yan lands a right hook, Sterling with a stand-in elbow, Yan misses a high kick, Sterling with another body kick then lands a jab and the horn sounds to end the opening frame.

Round Two - Sterling with a body kick, then a pair of straight rights. Yan lands a pair of kicks, one to the body and one to the calf. Yan teases a takedown, Sterling then dives in and gets Yan to the mat! Sterling looks for the back, gets it and locks-in the body triangle. Yan fights the hands, Sterling with some punches to the side of the head and looks for the choke but Yan's defending well and tucks the chin. Yan with some backwards punches, Sterling continues to try and loosen Yan up for the choke but can't quite lock anything in. Sterling unloads some heavy punches on the side of Yan's head and then the body. Sterling finds some room and locks-in the rear-naked choke, Yan rolls to his stomach, Sterling lets go and drills Yan with punches and rolls to his back and looks for the choke. Yan fights the wrists and delivers some more backwards punches, Sterling returns fire with some hooks and the buzzer sounds to end round number two.

Round Three - Sterling dives in for a takedown, Yan drills him with an uppercut, Sterling dives for another takedown but Yan shoves him aside. Sterling with a front kick to the body, Sterling latches on, Yan shoves him back, Sterling ankle picks Yan and gets him to a knee but Yan pushes back and ends up clinching Sterling against the fence. Sterling separates but dumps Yan to the mat and immediately latches onto the back and looks for the choke. Yan defends well, Sterling lands a few punches to the side of the head, Yan rolls but Sterling holds firm and keeps the position for the time-being. Sterling holds the back for the balance of the round and the round comes to a close and we're headed for the championship rounds.

Round Four - Yan clocks Sterling with a right hook that sends Sterling to the mat. Yan looks for a choke, Sterling rolls out and Yan waves off the referee after a potential kick below the belt from Sterling. Yan misses a hook, Sterling drags him to the mat but Yan ends up on top. Sterling scrambles, Yan ends up with back control and ends up tripping Sterling back down to the mat. Yan with side control and lands a few shots and he rides out the final 10-seconds in that position to end a somewhat uneventful fourth round.

Round Five - Sterling immediately changes levels and looks for a takedown, Yan sprawls and shoves Sterling back. Sterling comes right back and dives in for another, Yan scrambles and again pushed Sterling back. Sterling latches onto Yan and ends up on the back, Yan tries to shrug him off, Sterling holds his position and unloads a pair of knees to the back of Yan's leg. Yan explodes and breaks free from Sterling, who lands a 1-2 before looking for another takedown, which is stymied by Yan. Sterling goes for another takedown, Yan pushes him off and lands a left hook on the break. Sterling with a right hook, Yan partially lands a flying knee, Sterling goes for a takedown, Yan shoves him backwards and spins around Sterling to take his back. Sterling rolls and shrugs Yan off his back but Yan gets right back on and gets Sterling down. Yan rides out the rest of the round on Sterling's back and this one is headed to the judge's scorecards.

(#2) Gilbert Burns vs. (#11) Khamzat Chimaev

Round One - Chimaev with a front-kick to the body to start. Chimaev latches onto Burns and looks for the takedown but ends up with Burns pressed against the fence. Burns jumps and latches onto Chimaev but Chimaev dumps him to the mat. Both competitors are on a knee, Chimaev drags Burns and ends up with top control. Burns scoots to the fence and gets back up but Chimaev stays locked-up and drags him to the center of the octagon. Burns is active from his back, Chimaev stands up and lands a pair of kicks to Burns' thighs but Chimaev backs up and lets Burns back to his feet. Burns lands a whipping leg kick, Chimaev opens up with a 1-2, Burns fires back with a left hook, Chimaev with a kick to the body and Burns rips a right hook to the body. Chimaev unloads a 1-2 on Burns, then a right to the body, Burns narrowly misses an overhand right, Chimaev goes straight down the pipe and wallops Burns with a straight right. Burns with a low kick then a left hook sends Chimaev to the mat (potential slip) but Chimaev gets right back to his feet and lands a low kick. Chimaev drills Burns with a jab and Burns goes to the mat and Chimaev unloads a bevy of shots, Burns kicks back, Chimaev separates and lets Burns back to his feet. Burns misses a straight right, Chimaev lands a low kick, Burns with a left jab, Chimaev lands a right hook to the body and the buzzer sounds to end a wild opening frame!

Round Two - Chimaev with a body kick to start and Burns dives in for a takedown and gets it but Chimaev scrambles right back up. Chimaev with a right hook then a straight left to the body before landing a straight right back up top. Burns lands a right hook, Chimaev lands one of his own and then a low kick lands for Burns. Chimaev lands a low kick, Burns lands a pair of low kicks, Chimaev rips a 1-2 to the body, Burns goes for a single leg but Chimaev shoves him aside and keeps the fight standing. Burns drops Chimaev to a knee with a right hook, Chimaev keeps swinging, Burns is also swinging, Chimaev lands a jab, then a pair of hooks to the body, Burns with a body kick, Burns with a straight left to the body, Chimaev with another stinging jab, Burns dives for a takedown but Chimaev sprawls and ends up in top control. Burns kicks Chimaev in the chest and it sends him back, both competitors get back to the feet, Burns with a hook to the body, Chimaev with a hook to the body and Burns lands a low kick. Chimaev with a jab then a right uppercut that stuns Burns but Burns comes firing back with a left hook that sends Chimaev to the mat, Burns misses what would be an illegal kick, Chimaev pushed Burns to the mat and the buzzer sounds! What a round! After the bell, Burns pushes Chimaev back, Chimaev tries to punch Burns and the pair are separated by referee Mike Beltran.

Round Three - Chimaev just misses an overhand right to start, Burns lands a low kick, Chimaev with a jab, then another and Burns rips a right to the body. Chimaev wallops Burns with an uppercut then a kick to the body, Burns missed a counter 1-2, Chimaev with a right, then another, Burns dives for a takedown, Chimaev shoves him back, Burns stays latched on and drags Chimaev to the mat but Chimaev gets right back up and shoves Burns back. Chimaev drills Burns with a right hook, then a knee to the body, then an uppercut against the fence, Chimaev clinches up but Burns circles back to the center of the octagon. Chimaev with a straight left, then a 1-2 and a front kick to the body. Burns is busted open pretty badly, Chimaev's nose is also busted, Chimaev pops a jab, Burns misses a 1-2, Chimaev lands a straight right just as Burns also lands a straight right of his own. Chimaev snaps Burns' head back with a right hook, Chimaev blocks a high kick from Burns them rips a hook to the body. Burns with a left hook, then a 1-2, Chimaev with a jab, Burns clocks Chimaev with a right hook, then another hook wobbled Chimaev! Burns whiffs on an overhand right, Burns looks up at the clock, Chimaev drills him with a left hook, Burns just misses a right hook, Chimaev also misses one but he sends Burns flying back with a front kick to the body and Chimaev rushes Burns but the horn sounds and this one is somehow headed to the judge's scorecards! The two embrace after the bell, which is nice to see following their scuffle after round number two.

(#5) MacKenzie Dern vs. (#7) Tecia Torres

Round One - Torres with a left hook to start, Dern misses a left then latches onto Torres' head but Torres slides out of danger. Dern whiffs on a 1-2 but lands a right. Dern clinches Torres against the fence, Torres reverses momentum and has Dern clinched. Dern powers out and gets the fight back to the center of the cage, Torres lands a low kick and Dern responds with one of her own. Dern looks for the takedown, Torres lands a right, Dern misses a high kick, Dern misses a right hook, Torres rips a hook to the body and Dern lands a straight left. Torres with a kick to the body, Dern lands a straight right, then a left hook and Torres lands a kick to the body at the horn and this one is headed to round number two.

Round Two - Dern with a 1-2 to start, Torres comes back with a side-kick to the body, then a low kick. Dern leaps and latches onto Torres and looks for a kimura. Torres tries to spin out, Dern uses the cage as leverage, Torres spins backwards, Dern continues to work the wrist. Dern kicks off the fence, both go to the mat, Dern tries to transition into an arm-bar but Torres slides out and ends up in side control! Dern looks for an arm-bar, both competitors end up in a stale mate, neither want to make a mistake, Dern looks to adjust and looks for the sweep, Torres tries to pull back, Dern looks for a knee-bar and gets it, Torres tries to kick her way out of it, Dern rolls to tighten the grip, Torres tried to hang on, Dern unloads with some back elbows but somehow Torres rides out the rest of the round as the buzzer sounds and this one is headed to the third and final round!

Round Three - Dern with a right hand to start, Torres narrowly misses a spinning-back kick to the body and Dern drills Torres with a side-kick to the body. Torres with a body kick, Dern with a right hook, Torres with a calf kick, Dern with a 1-2 and Torres lands another kick to the body. Torres cracks Dern with a hook kick, Dern latches on and gets the takedown but Torres wallops Dern with an up-kick that sends Dern flying back. Torres with a body kick while back on the feet, then a right hand also lands for 'Tiny Tornado'. Torres with a pair of low kicks, then a right hook but Dern comes back with a straight right. Torres just misses an overhand right, Dern slips to the mat but quickly gets back up. Dern whiffs on a right hook, Torres partially lands a left hand, then a low kick, then a pair of kicks to the body. Torres with another low kick the rips a left hook to the body, then yet another low kick. Torres with a side-kick to the body, Dern drills Torres with a right hand, Torres trips Dern to the mat and they scramble as the buzzer sounds and this one is headed to the judge's scorecards.

Vinc Pichel vs. Mark Madsen

Round One - Pichel with a low kick to start, Madsen responds with one of his own. Madsen with another low kick, then another, Pichel fires back with another and Madsen lands a left hook. Madsen lands a right hook, Pichel lands a left then another low kick and Madsen plants another kick to Pichel's lead leg before perfectly timing a takedown and drags Pichel to the mat. Pichel scrambles and gets back to his feet and lands another leg kick. Madsen with a 1-2, Pichel just misses an overhand right, Madsen lands a straight right hand and Pichel comes right up the middle with a front-kick as the buzzer sounds to end the opening frame.

Round Two - Madsen with a jab, Pichel accidentally eye pokes Madsen but Madsen waves off the referee and this one continues without a hitch. Madsen with a low kick, Pichel lands a kick to the body, then a 1-2, Pichel with a low kick then an uppercut. Madsen lands a straight left, Pichel with a low kick, Madsen latches onto Pichel but pushes him back and lands a leg kick on the break. Madsen grabs Pichel, spins to the back and trips Pichel to the canvas. Madsen has immediate back control, Pichel works the wrists, Madsen adjusts and flattens Pichel to the mat. Pichel scrambles, grabs a leg, Madsen with a back elbow, Pichel shoves Madsen forward and uses the leg to get back to his feet. Pichel with a left, Madsen avoids another but Pichel dives in and lands a takedown. Pichel shoves Madsen to the fence, Madsen scoots to the fence and ends up in a seated position and the horn sounds to send this one to round number three.

Round Three - Pichel with a right hook then a low kick. Pichel with a front-kick to the body then dives in for another takedown but Madsen sprawls and ends up clinched against the fence. Madsen reverses the position and has Pichel against the fence for a moment but Pichel shoves him aside and the fight gets back to the center of the octagon. Madsen immediately dives in and gets a takedown with plenty of time to work. Madsen gets to side control, Pichel rolls, Madsen has the back but Pichel rolls again and ends up on his back. Pichel's active from his back and lands an elbow, Madsen adjusts and gets to half-guard, then side control. Madsen looks to seclude the arm and get into a crucifix position but Pichel defends well and teases a kimura but Madsen avoids danger for the moment. Pichel continues to throw shots from his back, not much lands, Madsen looks for the back, Pichel gives it up and gets to a knee but Madsen drags him right back to the mat. Pichel looks for a last-second heel hook, Madsen unloads a few shots, Pichel scrambles back to his feet but the buzzer sounds and this one is headed to the judge's scorecards.
