Play-by-Play
(#6) Jack Hermansson vs. (#7) Sean Strickland
Round One - Hermansson opens with a kick to Strickland's lead leg that finds a home. Strickland sticks a jab, then another, Hermansson lands another leg kick and Strickland continues to work the jab. Hermansson shoots for the takedown, Strickland stuffs it, Hermansson works the clinch, Strickland powers out and circles back to the center of the cage where he lands another jab. Hermansson missed an overhand left but a body kick from the Swede lands flush. Strickland continues to fire off the jab, he catches a body kick from Hermansson and fires off a straight left that hits its mark. Strickland stuns Hermansson with an overhand right, then another jab and a follow-up right hook just misses. Hermansson lands another leg kick, Strickland sticks another jab then lands a body kick of his own. Hermansson throws a wild overhand right that just misses at the buzzer that'll end the opening frame.
Round Two - Strickland picks right up where he left off in round number one and sticks another pair of jabs onto the bridge of Hermansson's nose. Hermansson comes back with a straight left but Strickland snaps his head back with yet another jab...and then another. Hermansson dives for a takedown, Strickland pushes him back with ease and lands another jab before whiffing on a straight right. Hermansson can't find the range with a straight left, Strickland makes him pay with, you guessed it, another jab. Hermansson lands a left, Strickland rips a right hook to the body and then another jab. Hermansson throws a flurry of shots but not much, if anything lands, Strickland lands a left hook, then a front kick to the body before planting another jab on Hermansson's nose. Strickland lands another body kick then sends Hermansson to the mat with a lighting quick straight right but the horn sounds and this one is headed to round number three.
Round Three - Strickland continues the barrage and works the jab to open the frame. Hermansson rips a left to the body, then a right before whiffing on a left hook up top. Hermansson drills a Strickland with a heavy kick to the body, Strickland parries away a left hook then drills Hermansson with another jab. Strickland missed a right hook, Hermansson answers with a leg kick then a left to the body before Strickland snaps his head back with another jab. Strickland with a body kick, then a jab, Hermansson misses an overhand left then Strickland gets a head kick blocked at the buzzer and this one is headed for the main event rounds.
Round Four - Hermansson comes out swinging and throws a bevy of shots and an overhand left partially lands. Strickland lands a jab, then another and it slows Hermansson down a bit. Hermansson with a left hook then dives in for the takedown, Strickland does a good job of holding his balance and breaks away from Hermansson. Strickland checks a Hermansson leg kick, parries off a jab then lands one of his own. Hermansson rips a left hand to the body, then narrowly misses a left hook and Strickland lands another jab. Strickland goes high with a kick, Hermansson scoots out of the way but walks right into another jab. Strickland missed a head kick and Hermansson misses a counter overhand left at the horn and this one is headed to the fifth and final round.
Round Five - Strickland opens the final frame with yet another jab, Hermansson rips a straight left to the body and just missed a right hook up top. Hermansson misses an overhand right but rips a right hook to the body. Hermansson lands a Superman punch but Strickland seemingly walks right through it and sticks another jab on Hermansson. Strickland goes back to the well and continues to work the jab relentlessly, Hermansson lands a lead leg kick and Strickland hits a left hook and follows it up with a lead leg kick. Hermansson lands a leg kick, eats a jab from Strickland then goes for a takedown, Strickland sprawls and uses the cage to circle out and back to the center of the octagon. Strickland lands another jab, Hermansson misses an overhand left, then an overhand right and Strickland lands yet another jab at the buzzer and this one is headed to the judge's scorecards.

Punahele Soriano vs. Nick Maximov
Round One - Maximov with a leg kick to start and then he immediately dives for a takedown, partially lands it, Soriano rolls out and ends up in a seated position, Maximov continues to try and grab the legs, Soriano rolls, Maximov scrambles back to his feet and just missed a head kick. Soriano fires back with a body kick but it's a bit too low and the fight is briefly stopped but quickly resumes. Soriano drills Maximov with a knee to the body, Maximov goes for another takedown, Soriano rolls out and Maximov latches onto his back and climbs it with double under-hooks. Soriano tries to shake Maximov off his back, Maximov looks for the choke but gets down and looks for the takedown, which he gets. Soriano scrambles, Maximov keeps pressure on top, Soriano rolls out, gets back to his feet but Maximov throws him right back down. Soriano scrambled again, gets back to his feet and lands on Maximov's back where he lands a pair of hammer-fists but the buzzer sounds to end the opening frame.
Round Two - Maximov with a left to start then drops to the mat and looks for another takedown. Soriano stuffs it, stands up and backs away to force Maximov back to his feet. Soriano unloads and lands a left hook that stuns Maximov, who dives back in for yet another takedown, Soriano scrambles, Maximov gets the back but Soriano spins out of the hold and gets back to the center of the octagon. Soriano rips a right to the body, Maximov dives down once again, Soriano ends up in a seated position and latches onto Maximov's body. Both men get to their feet but Maximov remains latched onto Soriano and has him pressed against the fence. Maximov seems content to ride out the rest of the round in the position and he does as the horn sounds to send this one to the third and final round.
Round Three - Maximov immediately goes for and lands another takedown and now has Soriano's back with plenty of time to work. Soriano gets back to his feet but Maximov scoop slams him right back to the mat and starts landing a few shots. Soriano scoots to the fence and gets back to his feet but again, Maximov slams him right back to the mat but not for long as Soriano gets right back to his feet. Maximov starts unloading knees to the back of Soriano's thighs then drops down to a knee to go for a single leg, Soriano stuffs it, Maximov is relentless for the takedown, gets Soriano to one knee then slides to the front and dives for a single leg, Soriano unloads some shots to Maximov's back but ends up in a seated position with 30-seconds to go in the bout. Maximov seems content to ride out the final half-minute in the position, Soriano scrambles to his feet and starts firing down hooks to Maximov's body, both men break and circle to the middle of the cage but the buzzer sounds and this one is headed to the judges' scorecards.

Shavkat Rakmhonov vs. Carlston Harris
Round One - Harris lands a left to start after missing a hook to the body. Harris loads up and whiffs on an overhand right, Rakmhonov plants a kick to Harris' lead leg, Harris comes up short on a right to the body and eats a pair of jabs from Rakmhonov. A spinning-kick to the body from Rakmhonov lands and hurts Harris, who initiates the clinch against the fence. Rakmhonov spins out and ends up now leading the clinch, looks for the takedown, Harris keeps his balance and now has Rakmhonov up against the cage. Harris starts reigning down the stomps and Rakmhonov perfectly times a trip and gets Harris to the mat but they both scramble and end up back on the feet. Rakmhonov comes out of nowhere with a spinning back kick that sends Harris to the mat and after a few follow-up shots this one is over! What a finish from Shavkat Rakmhonov!

Sam Alvey vs. Brendan Allen
Round One - Allen's the aggressor early, Alvey sends him back with a left that lands. Allen dives in for a double-leg takedown, Alvey stuffs the attempt and they circle back to the center of the octagon. Allen partially lands a high kick then missed a left hook as Alvey fired back with a straight right that lands. Alvey continues the momentum with a left hook and catches Allen's body kick and spins him around before landing another left hand. Allen just misses a body and Alvey lands a right but Allen responds with a left that lands. Alvey with a straight right, then a right hook, Allen misses a straight right to the body and then whiffs on a spinning-back kick. Allen lands a body kick then gets a leg kick checked by Alvey, who lands a 1-2. Allen again dives in for a takedown but Alvey stuffs it yet again, then lands a right but Allen sends Alvey to the canvas with a big right hook but the buzzer sounds to possibly save Alvey and sends this fight to round number two.
Round Two - Allen looks to keep his momentum from the end of round one and presses forward and just misses an uppercut. Alvey misses a right hook but rips a left to the body and then plants a kick on Allen's lead leg. Alvey can't land much after flurry of shots and Allen drills him with an uppercut to the body and blasts him with a left that sends Alvey to the canvas, Alvey covers up and Allen locks-in a rear-naked choke and Alvey has no choice but to tap! What a win for Brendan Allen!
