Former UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker and former middleweight title challenger, Paulo Costa, are set to face off at UFC 284 on February 12 in the Octagon's return to Perth, Australia.
The promotion officially announced the matchup via a tweet on Thursday. Whittaker is 4-1 in his last five Octagon outings and is coming off a unanimous decision win over, Marvin Vettori, at UFC Paris in September. Costa meanwhile is 1-2 in his previous three fights and will try to build on a unanimous decision victory over former UFC middleweight champ, Luke Rockhold, at UFC 278 in August.
