Ryan Garcia Continues Push For Gervonta Davis Matchup: "I Want To Do This For The People"

Undefeated rising lightweight star, Ryan Garcia continued his push for a showdown with unbeaten three-division world champion, Gervonta "Tank" Davis.

Garcia spoke with the media during the post-fight press conference for his latest fight on Saturday in Los Angeles, California following his sixth-round KO victory over former WBA super featherweight champ, Javier Fortuna, and reiterated his desire to face Davis next.

“I just don’t like that he doesn’t make things clear," Garcia said (h/t Bad Left Hook). "If he says ‘See you in December,’ make things a little bit clearer — ‘Ryan, let’s get it on.’ I feel like I’m very transparent in the way I talk. I call him out not because I’m thirsty, I call him out because that’s genuinely want I want to do. So we’ll figure it out with the teams and we’ll make it happen. I want to do this for the people and I know everybody wants this fight to happen, so I’ll be putting my whole heart to try to make this fight.”
