Anderson Silva fought for the final time in the UFC at UFC Vegas 12 and according to Bellator President Scott Coker, fans should not expect to see Silva in the Bellator cage.
While Coker has a lot of respect for the former middleweight champion, it doesn’t seem like he is too keen on adding Silva to the roster.
“I have a lot of respect for him. He’s definitely one of the greatest fighters in the history of mixed martial arts. I really haven’t thought about it, but I think I’m happy with the way our roster is heading and the fighters that we have now. I think that’s my statement on that,” Coker said to MMA Junkie.
Silva has had a rough run in the last seven-plus years of his professional MMA career, going 1-7-0-1NC in his last nine. Silva's last win was a controversial decision over Derek Brunson in the co-main event of UFC 208.
