Undefeated UFC welterweight contender Shavkat Rakhmonov doesn't have any plans on rushing into a title shot but has some big names in mind for his next Octagon outing.
Rakhmonov spoke with the media at the UFC Vegas 57 post-fight press conference following his second-round submission victory over Neil Magny on Saturday night and named former UFC title challengers Jorge Masvidal, Nick Diaz, and Stephen Thompson as the three fighters he'd like to face next.
“I’m not going to rush,” Rakhmonov said (h/t MMA Junkie). “I’m going to take my time and rest and assess everything with my team. But the names I want to face are Stephen Thompson, Nick Diaz, (Jorge) Masvidal. Let’s go.”
