Tim Means last competed at UFC 255, scoring a unanimous decision victory over Mike Perry.
That victory was Means’ 13th in the UFC and he would like to get win #14 after signing a new contract with the promotion.
“This just puts me up for it’s time to renegotiate my contract. … Sean Shelby’s already talking to me on messages now, so it’s time to sign another deal. I think that was my third fight, if I’m not mistaken, where we’re at now, so just make sure we have another fight lined up,” Means said at the UFC 255 post-fight press conference (via Simon Head & Ken Hathaway of MMA Junkie).
Means is currently in his second run with the UFC and he holds an overall record of 13-9-0-1NC in the promotion. Means was actually a late replacement for the fight against Perry at UFC 255 and to make things worse for him, Perry showed up overweight for their welterweight division encounter.
