Tom Duquesnoy Faces Cody Stamann At UFC 217

A bantamweight division affair has been added to the upcoming UFC 217 card as Tom Duquesnoy is in action against Cody Stamann.

It was Duquesnoy who revealed the fight through Instagram:

Duquesnoy (15-1-0-1NC) is currently undefeated under the UFC banner, having defeated Patricky Williams by second round TKO at UFC On Fox 24. Duquesnoy is a former BAMMA Bantamweight Champion and he gave up the gold when he signed with the UFC earlier this year. Duquesnoy has suffered a single professional MMA defeat and that came to UFC veteran Makwan Amirkhani at Cage 21 in February 2013.

Stamann (14-1-0) is also undefeated thus far during his time in the UFC, with his win coming over Terrion Ware by decision at UFC 213. Stamann is also a former Michianna Fight League Featherweight Champion, defeating Chris Dunn at MFL 39 to win the belt. Stamann hasn’t suffered a defeat in over three years, with that lone defeat coming to Lawrence DiGiulio in August 2014.

UFC 217 takes place on Saturday, November 4 from Madison Square Garden in New York, New York with Michael Bisping and Georges St. Pierre headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
