A welterweight division affair is the latest addition to the UFC Fight Night Atlantic City card as Tony Martin is going to be in action against Keita Nakamura.
Martin (12-4-0) is going to be making his UFC Welterweight Division debut in this fight, having previously competed at welterweight. Martin had earned a 4-4-0 record as a lightweight in the UFC, last defeating Johnny Case at UFC Fight Night Oklahoma City. Martin has seen his last three fights go the distance and it has been over two years since the fighter got a finish.
Nakamura (33-8-2-1NC) has rotated wins and losses throughout his UFC run, with his last bout being a split decision win over Alex Morono at UFC Fight Night Japan. Nakamura has earned two of his three wins in the UFC by submission, but suffered both of the defeats in the promotion by way of decision. Nakamura is currently in the midst of his third run with the UFC, going winless during his first two shots in the promotion.
UFC Fight Night Atlantic City takes place on Saturday, April 21 from the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey with Edson Barboza and Kevin Lee headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
