Helena Kolesnyk had no opponent after Invicta FC Featherweight Champion Megan Anderson signed with the UFC to fight Cyborg at UFC 214.

Now Kolesnyk does have an opponent for the main event of Invicta FC 24 in the form of bantamweight champion Tonya Evinger. Although Evinger is the Invicta FC Bantamweight Champion, this contest is going to be a three round featherweight affair.

Evinger (19-5-0-1NC) is competing at featherweight for the first time in her Invicta FC tenure, as all of her previous bouts in the promotion came at bantamweight. Evinger has already defended her championship three times in the promotion, defeating Pannie Kianzad, Yana Kunitskaya and Colleen Schneider. Three of Evinger’s five losses as a pro came to UFC veterans -- those three defeats came to Alexis Davis (twice) and Sara McMann.

Kolesnyk (5-0-0-1NC) is going to be making her Invicta FC debut in this fight and none of her pro MMA bouts have gone the distance. Kolesnyk has fought five times in the WBK MMA promotion out of China, where she earned half of her wins there by submission and the other half by KO/TKO. Kolesnyk has seen three of her six professional MMA bouts end in under a minute..

Invicta FC 24 takes place on Saturday, July 15 from the Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City, Missouri with Tonya Evinger and Helena Kolesnyk headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on UFC Fight Pass.
